On December 18 students will begin presenting their book reports. I encourage everyone to please turn these in on time since they will be counted as a test grade. I am looking forward to listening to their presentation and seeing their "sandwiches"!

I am looking forward to meeting parents and discussing Language Arts first quarter grades on Thursday, November 14 from 12:00-2:15 and 6:00-8:00pm, no appointment is necessary. I will be stationed in the gym. The students have worked hard this quarter and it is nice to see so many of them on the honor roll!

The first quarter will be ending on November 8. This is a good time to check Power School to review your grades and see if you are missing any assignments. Copies are always available in the classroom or download them from this website. Please see me if you have any questions about your work or your current grade. I certainly wish for all my students to be successful and make the Honor Roll!

We are wrapping up our study of the Twelve Powerful Words which should help us greatly on the MEAP and other tests and assignments this year. We will have a test next week. In the meantime, study your flashcards and try visiting this website for some extra practice!
